Forensic Science Club hosts annual Symposium April 8 & 9

Speakers from around the country that specialize in aspects of forensic science and former students will be speaking about their experiences and their work. This program is open to Penn State students and faculty as well as high school students interested in pursuing forensic science.

Dr. John DeHaan- forensic fire expert
Pete Smerick- criminal profiler and former FBI agent
Jill Smerick- helped develop the FBI DNA Program
Dr. Lee Goff- forensic entomologist
Dr. Katie Zejdlik- anthropologist
Nate Shugarts- alumnus of PSU Forensic Science program, working on his PhD
Laura Wilson- alumnus of PSU Forensic Science program, currently working in Bode's Special Case Unit
