Wayne Moorehead holds workshop at MAFS meeting

Wayne Moorehead, Director of the Forensic Science Program along with William Randle from the Missouri State Highway Patrol Crime Laboratory instructed a hands-on workshop titled “Polarized Light Microscopy for Drug Chemists” at the October, 2016, Midwest Association of Forensic Scientists meeting held in Branson, Missouri. In addition to learning about the theory of polarized light microscopy participants learned of different methods in chemical microscopy useful for the drug chemist and showing the continued value of the microscope in today's crime laboratory.
