Hi, my name is Casey Brown and I am from Atlanta, Georgia. I graduated from the University of West Georgia in Carrollton, Georgia with a B.S. in Chemistry. After graduating, I decided to take a year off before attending graduate school. I worked in an analytical microscopy lab isolating and identifying small particles. I am currently pursuing a MPS Degree in Forensic Science with a concentration in chemistry. I decided on Penn State’s Forensic Science program because of the holistic and hands-on approach to learning and the experience and knowledge of the faculty. State College’s mountainous landscape fuels my love of the outdoors. In my free time, I enjoy hiking and camping.
